UH3000 and UH4000

Giletta UH Series spreaders are designed to increase product quality and versatility through the innovation of a single series having a standard hopper, which can be supplied with three different feeding systems. The UH Series features a metallic chain belt and a roller breaker with blades.

During the spreader development particular attention has been given to the machine design: the result is a product combining a cutting edge look with better operating efficiency owing to:

• Reduction of turbulence created by the vehicle and a better spreading efficiency.
• New spreading unit with a simple and comfortable hydraulic tilting system.
• Auxiliary engine placed in a soundproof compartment on the front of the machine to avoid the suction of the salt spread.
• Monolithic tanks for a better filling quickness.

Innovative spreading unit

The patented spreading unit has been designed to achieve the best results, both with the use of solid materials, and with the combined use of solid and liquid materials:

• Polyethylene conveyor provides excellent sliding features at low temperatures.
• Protection for anti-wear polyethylene disc.
• Introducing chamber with 4-blade inside disc in order to assure a constant spreading direction and keep the material homogeneous.
• Tank unit “at zero pressure” ensures accurate liquid distribution.
• 5-10 blade big outside disc; the blades are adjustable depending on the material spread for better distribution.

Unloading systems

EcosWave

Latest generation microprocessor control is characterized by maximum flexibility in programming and management of spreaders and sprinklers. The control integrates routes management and an acquisition system via the GPS receiver.

“Route-Replay” system for “teach-in” self-learning and navigation

 

The innovative “Route-Replay” self-learning and navigation system has been specifically designed to combine the maximum performance offered by the latest generation of salt-spreaders with superb practicality and easy-to-use controls for operators. The functionality of “Route – Replay” lies in its ability to memorize a large number of routes, with a practically unlimited series of points (so-called way-points) in which parameters for spreading (batching, spread width etc.) are defined via Ecoswave control. The system will then automatically change these spread values as the vehicle is moving along the selected section of road.
