Spreaders

The complete line of municipal and contractor spreader bodies include side-dump, V-box hopper, and U-box dump body spreaders. Here we review the BTU Dump Body Spreader and the XZalt Precision Applicator.

BTU Dump Body Spreader  

The BTU spreader features a new polygonal radius shape that provides optimized gravity flow with maximized yardage. Simple and safe to operate, the unit offers excellent stability of the tractor, aggregating flow by gravity onto the center conveyor. Spreading configurations available are; left and/or right, both sides simultaneously or rear discharge.

The BTU Dump Body is a rugged unit easily convertible into a flexible spreader.

Exclusive Features

The Tailgate Latch Mechanism is adjustable to compensate wear with over-center cam design for positive locking in case of air failure. The twin air cylinder mechanism provides excellent performance and reliability.

XZalt Precision Applicator

The XZalt is a unique salt and sand spreader, allowing for higher application speeds, longer routes, and fewer spreaders. Overall, the Xzalt will provide a return on investment as well as improve your snow and ice management operations. The Xzalt features a high precision directional spinner that broadcasts dry and/or liquid material on one, two, or three lanes to reduce time, fuel, and miles traveled.

The spinner, liquid pump, and conveyor are equipped with sensor feedback to eliminate guesswork of application rates or controller settings. The precision directional spinner system is adjusted by the operator from the comfort of the cab to apply symmetrical or asymmetrical patterns on one, two, or three lanes. Gas-spring assisted lift allows operators to easily raise the spinner assembly for bulk discharge and storage. Integrated liquid system features high-volume molded tanks with integrated baffles, a positive displacement direct-drive gear pump with sensor for precise application rates, and easy ground-level rear fill, with a liquid capacity up to 4000 liters.

In some instances others have misapplied CAN bus, using it only
for communication between joysticks and in-cab hardware. FORCE America has unleashed the full potential of
distributed control networks, dramatically reducing wiring not just in the cab, but throughout the entire snow fighting vehicle. With the 6100, intelligent CAN bus modules are strategically placed in the hydraulic valve enclosure, on the spreader body and elsewhere to shorten cable lengths and provide local diagnostics.
