RoadHog Pick-Up Brooms for Skidsteers and Tractor Loader Backhoes

“RoadHog has designed in durability with a reinforced steel broom front and hood…”

IMI RoadHog Broom 2

RoadHog has introduced a full line of Pick-Up Brooms that can be used on skidsteer loaders or tractor loader backhoes. Brooms are available in 60, 72, 84 and 96-inch widths. Broom wafers are 26-inches in diameter and are powered by a direct drive bi-directional motor with relief valve. All brooms are shipped with a combination of poly and steel wafers to enhance both pick-up characteristics and wear material. In addition to the wafers that are sized for greater wear, all bucket edges are ¾-inch thick. Buckets include both a weld-on edge and a reversible, bolt-on edge.

RoadHog has designed in durability with a reinforced steel broom front and hood to withstand the most demanding job applications. Design durability can also be found in the broom height adjustment pins which are anodized and well protected. Both sides of the broom feature added guarding at both the bearing and drive side of the broom core.

Options for these brooms include both a gutter brush arrangement and multiple water options. Water can be added with a 45-gallon, low profile tank that mounts directly to the top of the broom housing. This system is pressurized for greater effectiveness in dust abatement. There is also a low profile, 40-gallon gravity mount system that is placed on top of the skidsteer.

As with every professionally designed attachment from RoadHog, convenience features like access/egress steps are placed on both sides of the unit as well as D-rings for easy tie-down during transport.

The RoadHog is designed to cut asphalt, utility trenches and reclaim or stabilize pavement and base. Models are available for wheel loaders, backhoes and skidsteers.

Skidsteer Cold Planers – Several models of skidsteer cold planer’s are offered by RoadHog, with 12″ to 40″ cutting drums and cutting depths to 5″, 6″ or 8″.  These can be powered by the skidsteer’s standard or high flow hydraulic system, and built for any make and model of skidsteer.

Skidsteer Road Saw – The road saw is an ideal attachment for cutting pavement prior to laying utilities, such as water, sewer and electrical lines as well as traffic sensors and pavement patchwork.
